WE ARE THE ORIGINAL ISRAEL DERIVED FROM THE ELITE TRIBES OF THE NORTHERN ISRAELI KINGDOM

I dare to speak on behalf of my own people, the Israeli Samaritans in this regard. In general, we Israelite Samaritans are not historically Jewish, as we are descendants of the elite Northern Israelite Kingdom, which contained the tribes of Levi, Menashe and Ephraim.

We never ask for recognition of what we are of any other faith. Why do we have to do this if we are the original Israelites?

It is clear that the Jews with all their different currents are our brothers to the same nation of ancient Israel and the same historical fortune.

The issue has become different when it comes to life in the State of Israel: as fanatical national Jewish religious leaders are making frequent claims suspect our faith and our originality as they are living 2000 years ago and not in a democratic country of Israel, which , fortunately, based on civil law and not driven by their fanatical statements.

Israeli Samaritans in the State of Israel have been under the Law of Return since 1949, thanks to the activity of MP Yitzhaq Ben-Zvi and Foreign Minister Moshe Sharet.

In 1992, the fanatical Jewish interior minister was suspicious of this law and refused to recognize Nablus' new brides in Samaria, which is outside Israel, as new immigrants.

The writer decided to put an end to this "dancing of demons" and, with the representatives of the community, we sued the Israeli Prime Minister and his minister before the Supreme Court of Israel.

The result was in 1993 that the Supreme Court of Israel also recognized the Israeli Samaritans of Mount Garizim under the Law of Return and the Ministry of Interior ordered them all to be given an Israeli identity.

In modern times, any discussion of the origin of any entity must be academic and based on historical facts with real-life implications.

In this regard, we're fine, no matter what others tell us about most comes from misinformation or misinformation.
